The Course from Olympic Valley to Auburn
The route of this ultramarathon is a true adventure. Starting from Olympic Valley, runners will face over 18,000 feet of elevation gain, with a significant net downhill ending in Auburn. This means that despite the overall descent, there will still be plenty of rugged terrain to navigate along the way. Women’s Competition
Last year’s women’s race was truly memorable. Both Courtney Dauwalter and Katie Schide broke Ellie Greenwood’s 2012 course record. Dauwalter clinched victory with an outstanding time of 15 hours, 29 minutes, and 33 seconds, while Schide finished in 16 hours, 43 minutes, and 45 seconds. This year, with Dauwalter opting to stay home and Schide’s continued improvement, she appears to be the favorite for the win.
